Alouise Lynch ART

Designing a logo with a nature based theme is always rewarding, and even more so if I am able to work with people who really contribute greatly to the conservation of Fynbos Fauna and Flora by creating awareness about the wonders of our Cape Floristic region.
Zoe Poulsen is originally from the green and gently rolling landscapes of England’s West Dorset. A lifelong interest in plants and their ecology brought Zoë down to the Cape. From that first life-changing visit, spent as an intern at Kirstenbosch National Botanic Gardens almost ten years ago, Zoe have been living, working, studying and writing about life in the Mother City.
Notes from a Cape Town Botanist was born on a bench on a cold spring day at London’s Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, inspired by the prominent botanist, conservationist and author Sara Oldfield, then Secretary General of Botanic Gardens Conservation International. The blog was started with the aim to communicate to a global audience the international importance of South Africa’s Cape Floristic Region (CFR). It also reports on the conservation challenges the CFR faces, the vital research work taking place to better understand its ecosystems and what is being done to conserve it for the future.
After three years of hard work Zoe made a decision to revamp both the website as well as commissioning a brand new Logo.
LoveGreen took on the monumentous task of revamping and rebuilding Zoe's website site.
I was asked to create a wonderful new logo for this amazing organization to use on all platforms, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Zoe on this!!!
Please visit Notes from a Cape Town Botanist on the web, and like and share this wonderful page as far and wide as possible - do not forget to subscribe to her newsletter - it is a very worthy read!!!
